HALLOWEEN PARTY

The Halloween Party, where Angela and Miriam has worked all month to get to this, was awesome, excellent, amazing and so much fun.  Everything worked out perfect with our plans. The party was only to be an hour, so that Miriam would not tire of it, or interrupt our daily scheduled dinner at 6:30.  The party started at 5PM until 6PM.  It was amazing that we were able to do everything we wanted done at the party in just one hour.  Please enjoy the pictures. Will also be making short comments of what is going on with the pictures at times. The pictures are in order of first to last of the party.

After we greeted everyone, we gave Angela's children a graveyard kit to build in the area of the rock pond. And we made them wear gloves for clean Halloween fun.  The little boy in the pictures is Shane, Angela's  youngest son.  He is 3 and so adorable. All the kids had a blast and make a spooky graveyard.

Shane is so proud of himself.
Next, we played Toss the Ring over the witches hat.  I wish Angela had taken a picture up close of this witches hat, as it is so cute, and Angela made it the day of the party.  She is so talented. Everyone had a great time playing this game and watching the game.  So much fun.
Angela got the ring on the witches hat on the first try

Hanna, Angela's daughter got it on first toss as well
Miriam having fun watching the toss game

It took the rest of us more than one try, and some cheating.
As you can tell in the above picture, Miriam is having so much fun.
The next six pictures below are of Miriam and Shane working the toss to the witches hat.  They are adorable, and their conversation was priceless.  They are working as a team. So sweet!!  I think the pictures tell the story of finally getting the ring on the witches hat.
Miriam getting ready to toss the ring.

She missed and asked Shane if he would help her
Shane telling Miriam that he will help her.
The final result is that they both hold it over the hat and drop it on the witches hat. So cute

The next game was so much fun, and so funny to watch.  We all had such a great time playing pin the nose on the pumpkin. (actually we used double sided tape instead of pins.) It is the same game as pin the tail on the donkey, but with a nose and pumpkin.  Angela again, made this game up the day of the party. And make the pumpkin out of cardboard, and cut out noses for the game.
 No peeking!!!
End results of the pumpkin. Hanna won!!!

The pictures below are just snap shots while all of us were visiting together.

The last pictures are right before everyone left. Miriam wanted to have pictures with everyone there. She had such a great time, and this is all she has talked about last night and today. She loved the party.

This party was such a great success. Miriam just loved it, and planning the party since the first of the month, made it even more special.  It is exciting to think about how much fun she had.  We love you Miriam.

I absolutely adore this picture.  In my eyes it shows such a close relationship between Angela and Miriam. I could not ask for a better caregiver and friend for Miriam. She has made such a difference in Miriam's life. And in my life too.
